Twenty Local Recipient Groups Work in Chicago and Suburbs
Chicago, IL (August 19, 2010) - The Chicago Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) of the Archdiocese of Chicago will announce grants totaling almost $300,000 to twenty-one community-based organizations on Wednesday, September 1, at St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish, 1351 West Evergreen in Chicago.

ANNUAL BANQUET BENEFITING BISHOP ABRAMOWICZ SEMINARY
TO BE HELD ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 12
Chicago, IL (August 17, 2010)– Francis Cardinal George, OMI, Archbishop of Chicago, and the Auxiliary Bishops of Chicago, will be in attendance at the annual benefit dinner for the Archdiocese of Chicago’s Bishop Abramowicz Seminary, on Sunday, September 12, at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers, 301 East North Water Street in Chicago. There will be a silent auction and cocktails at 5 p.m. followed by dinner at 6 p.m.

THERAPY GROUP FOR ADULT
SURVIVORS OF CHILDHOOD SEXUAL ABUSE
Archdiocesan Office of Assistance Ministry to Sponsor Sessions
Chicago, IL (August 13, 2010) – The Archdiocese of Chicago through the Office of Assistance Ministry will again sponsor therapy groups for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Licensed professionals, who have experience working with victims of sexual abuse, will conduct group sessions for women and men at no cost to the participants.
